About the role
The TPA Oversight Claims Specialist will provide claims oversight for their TPA, focusing on Commercial General Liability claims.
Responsibilities
- Provide TPA oversight for moderate to higher exposure General Liability claims
- Conduct claims reviews, approve reserves, and direct claims to closure
- Collaborate with various internal and external partners for data, loss runs, and risk potential
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
- Participate in audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 8+ years of general liability claims experience
- Proven expertise in handling high-severity general liability claims, including premises liability, New York Labor law, bodily injury, and litigated matters
- Experience handling multi-jurisdictional claims with a carrier
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
