Sr. Claims Examiner - PIP
About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance claims to determine extent of Insurer's obligations.
- Settle claims with first claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law.
- Evaluates each claim in light of facts.
- Affirm or deny coverage.
- Investigates to establish proper reserves.
- Settles or denies claims in a fair and expeditious manner.
- Communicate with all relevant parties and documents communication as well as results of investigation.
- Thoroughly understands coverage, policy terms and conditions for broad insurance areas, products or special contracts.
- Travel is required to attend customer service calls, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three plus years of PIC related experience and an AIC Designation will be considered for employees in good standing with excellent claim audit scores.
Pay
Compensation Range $76,700.00 - $85,700.00. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
