About the role
This position will be responsible for the adjustment of all third-party liability losses as well as claims arising from General Liability and Commercial Auto Liability coverages.
Responsibilities
- Coverage assessment
- Investigate, evaluate, and bring to its disposition, all nonsuit and litigation claims
- Assure the proper reserving of all losses
- Participate in recognized safety/marketing programs
- Assign and manage the activities of independent adjusters and other vendors
- Work effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departments
- Identify subrogation and risk transfer potential
- Prepare Substantive Claim Reports
- Reinsurance reporting
- Preparing comprehensive claim correspondence, including coverage position communications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or life experience
- At least five years of experience in handling general liability claims
- General Adjuster’s license in designated Home-State and able to be licensed in other States
- Good telephone demeanor
- Proficient use of a PC
- Valid driver’s license
- Occasional travel
Pay
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annual
