Sr. Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Project management and engineering of municipal projects, including the design and construction of water main, sanitary and storm sewers, and roads and sidewalks.
• Oversight of numerous related studies such as water reliability studies, feasibility studies, and the development of capital improvement plans.
• Technical analysis and documentation.
• Determination and monitoring of project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Development and maintenance of client relationships.
• Supervision and development of project team members, including goal setting, problem solving, coaching, and career guidance.
• Management and coordination of pursuits with the Business Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• MI PE registration preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience, with experience in MDOT LAP preliminary and construction engineering, municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, transportation projects, and client management being a plus.
• Experience in client management, preparing and meeting budgets and schedules.
• Knowledgeable in municipal, township, and county government practices and regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
