Sr. Civil Designer- Civil 3D

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

• Participates in technical studies, AutoCAD-based design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans.
• Permitting applications and processing.
• Construction administration support including field observation reports.
• Scheduling and preparation of project cost estimates and schedules.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong technical and professional communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, and Civil 3D experience required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Work Experience Required: Requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or GED, 9 years with an Associate's Degree, or 8 years with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven experience in field technician roles, with a track record of successful completion of assigned projects.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite; Photoshop and Google Earth

Education And/or Work Experience Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
