About the Role

Legend Biotech is seeking a Sr. Cell Therapy Clinical Educator (Gulf Coast) as part of the Commercial team based remotely, near the Houston or New Orleans metro areas. The Cell Therapy Clinical Educator is a field-based commercial role responsible for providing information, education, and resources on Legend cell therapy products to advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurses involved in delivering care for patients treated with cell therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts peer-to-peer in-person and virtual educational programs through 1:1 APP/Nurse and group presentations.
  • Meets with identified customers in each participating practice or facility to engage and enroll them in educational programs.
  • Promptly responds to internal/external inquiries and requests.
  • Collaborates with commercial team members on cross-functional projects and regional initiatives to support company goals.
  • Provides in-services and educational activities at professional society meetings.
  • Utilizes key resources to support account planning and align with regional and company goals.
  • Develops relationships with key nurse opinion leaders.
  • Recognizes changes and emerging trends within an account to develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives.
  • Provides consistent follow-up to assess and meet practice needs for education.
  • Ensures clear, concise, and accurate communication of program information using proper medical terminology and approved materials.
  • Represents Legend at national and/or local conventions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a health science field (RN, NP, PA, etc.); advanced degree also considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience or 5 years of Oncology experience.
  • Clinical practice experience in immune effector cell therapy/bone marrow transplant (required if no previous in-house industry experience).
  • Involvement/membership in ONS (Oncology Nursing Society).
  • Previous in-house industry sales or clinical educator experience.
  • Experience with Multiple Myeloma.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and presentation) skills.
  • Proven ability to understand challenges and educational needs of stakeholders and accounts within the assigned geography.
  • Demonstrated strong in-person and virtual presentation and engagement skills.
  • Superior clinical skills and business acumen in a technically complex and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to identify critical activities, adjust priorities, and meet organizational goals.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a health science field is a plus.
  • Previous experience with CAR-T or cell therapy products is advantageous.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $168,372 USD - $220,988 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
