About the role

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar Ops construction projects. The role will work alongside a team of Construction category managers and partner closely with Pre-Construction, Design and Construction, World Wide Real-Estate, and World Wide Design to develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver savings/value, and improve productivity across the category. This position involves direct contact with both internal and external stakeholders, and requires the ability to communicate effectively with business partners at every level, including upper management.

The right candidate will be a self-starter with dedication to seeing projects through to completion, able to work independently in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing, and ambiguous environment. You will have an eye for detail and a determination to standardize processes and deliver high-quality work.

  • Build relationships and alignment with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver site launches, particularly for Prime week and Peak season.
  • Own individual targets and goals across the NA GC construction category scope, and identify and deliver incremental process and system improvements.
