Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and layouts for a variety of diffused aeration systems (PVC and stainless-steel piping) and fixed biofilm treatment systems
• Create detailed fabrication and weldment drawings for structural steel angle assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
• Create fabrication drawings for the manufacturing of aeration systems from approved 3D models
• Assist in bringing existing 2D drawings to 3D models
• Create and maintain 3D parts library
• Assist Sales department with proposal drawing layouts and details
• Assist customers with troubleshooting, technical assistance, and guidance on field installations
• Communicate with contractors and engineers as needed
• Interpret sales data to input into engineering documents

Requirements

Education: Completion of drafting, mechanical design, or related technical program.

Area of Study: Drafting, mechanical design, or related field.

Specialized Training: 3D mechanical design and drafting.

Certifications: Drafting certification required.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in drafting and 3D mechanical design; experience in the wastewater treatment industry preferred.

Software/Applications: Microsoft Office, Autodesk Inventor, and experience working in ERP systems.
