About the job
We’re looking for an integral member of our team to ensure Alfa Laval’s sourcing process is followed. This includes executing and maintaining cost roll activities, managing and resolving supplier escalations, supporting digital transformation initiatives, participating in cross-functional task forces, leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives and projects, monitoring supplier performance, performing basic data quality management, maintaining and updating price lists, managing the initial sample process, overseeing supplier onboarding and phase-out, identifying, managing, and resolving supply shortages, controlling daily purchasing activities and managing price deviations, attending PIM meetings, escalating risks and issues as required, leading the technical onboarding of suppliers into digital platforms, analyzing and updating lead time accuracy, providing support for claims handling, participating in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and acting as a responsible contact for internal suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain cost roll activities.
- Manage and resolve supplier escalations.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including: - D365 - Blue Yonder (BY) - Jakamo - Power BI
- Participate in cross-functional task forces.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Maintain and update price lists.
- Manage the initial sample process.
- Oversee supplier onboarding and phase-out.
- Identify, manage, and resolve supply shortages.
- Control daily purchasing activities and manage price deviations.
- Attend PIM meetings, escalate risks and issues as required.
- Lead the technical onboarding of suppliers into digital platforms.
- Analyze and update lead time accuracy.
- Provide support for claims handling.
- Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Act as responsible contact for internal suppliers (where applicable).
Requirements
- You have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field with relevant experience, and:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience related to purchasing.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- LSS Greenbelt preferred.
- Data analysis.
