About the role
Join our team as a Senior Business Manager and contribute to global healthcare advancement. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with commercial clients in pharmaceutical services and manufacturing operations
- Serve as primary liaison between clients and internal teams to support business growth and service delivery
- Lead client partnerships and manage complex portfolios
- Identify expansion opportunities and generate business growth
- Oversee demand planning, forecasting, contract negotiations, and financial performance
- Shape business strategy and execute initiatives impacting client satisfaction
- Collaborate across functions to enhance operational excellence and resolve challenges
- Manage commercial contracts and pricing strategies
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in business management, client relationship management, or similar commercial roles
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Advanced financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Clear communication and presentation abilities
- Experience managing complex client relationships and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency with business systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with sales operations planning (S&OP) and demand forecasting
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment
- Travel up to 25% as needed
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree plus 4 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, preferably in CDMO environment
- Preferred fields of study: Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification beneficial
