Sr. Business Intelligence Systems Specialist

About the role

The Sr. Business Intelligence Systems Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex business intelligence systems. This role requires deep expertise in data analysis, SQL, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models and ETL processes using SQL and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through testing and validation processes.
• Optimize BI systems for performance and scalability.
• Document system design and processes for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI systems development and implementation.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data modeling best practices.
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms like AWS Athena, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience.
