Sr Business Intelligence Engineer III, Community Operations
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, self-driven Senior Business Intelligence Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work directly with data engineers, scientists, and software developers to build the analytical infrastructure that powers community intelligence at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes that integrate diverse data sources including survey responses, media intake pipelines, NLP model outputs, and operational metrics
- Build and optimize data models and reporting data marts
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across pipelines
- Conduct analyses including trend detection, anomaly identification, and geographic segmentation for community-related business outcomes
- Support model performance monitoring and evaluation metrics for production NLP and forecasting systems
- Partner with scientists and engineers to build analytical infrastructure supporting AI-orchestrated workflows and LLM-based systems
- Contribute to knowledge base development that enables scaled pattern detection across data sources
- Interface with partner teams to understand data needs and deliver integrated reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
- 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
- 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
- 5+ years of as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a related occupation experience
- 1+ years of using SQL, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), or Oracle experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
