Sr Business Intelligence Analyst
About the role
Responsible for turning data into actionable information and insights to drive business and operational decisions in assigned support areas. This role will work closely with operational and business leadership to understand their analytics and business needs and function as a trusted analytics delivery partner to answer pertinent business questions using all available data assets. Enables successful adoption of analytics tools and requires advanced knowledge of healthcare operations and the key performance indicators used to support the business.
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, tests and implements BI solutions.
- Creates solutions within the existing BI environment including: designing, coding, testing and documenting all new or modified BI services, applications, programs, semantic layers, metadata, reports, dashboards and portal interfaces.
- Develops stored procedures, reporting design, report modeling, database development, administration and automation of BI solutions.
- Troubleshoots BI tools, systems and software; performance-tunes these applications as necessary.
- Potential for periodic on-call duty supporting these applications and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 5 years related work experience
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs.; frequent sitting/standing; frequent keyboard use. Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
