Sr. Business Developer, Workforce Planning Staffing Strategy , NA RME Strategy
About the Role
As the Business Developer III, Staffing Strategy, you will lead the design and execution of staffing initiatives across the RME network. You will partner with senior leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable strategies that attract, retain, and grow a diverse workforce. This role is critical to building an equitable, high-performing organization that supports Amazon's continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Drive the development and execution of staffing strategy programs that align workforce supply with RME network demand, partnering with HR and Operations leaders to close headcount gaps at scale
- Lead staffing initiatives across the RME network by designing programs, tracking progress against goals, and influencing leaders to embed equitable practices into hiring and talent decisions
- Build and maintain program reporting frameworks, executive-level dashboards, and decision-support tools that enable senior leaders to monitor staffing health and inclusion metrics
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions and stakeholder alignment across HR, Finance, Legal, and Field Operations to drive adoption of staffing and inclusion best practices
- Identify trends, surface insights, and deliver clear recommendations to senior leadership on workforce composition, representation gaps, and program effectiveness across the RME network
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
