Sr. Business Analyst (Banking Products)

About the role

The individual will be working on defining the business use case, leading the requirement gathering stage and implementing identified requirements with the Hashcash Consultants Product Team. The role involves front-end client interaction with High to Mid-size Financial Institutions and Banks in the MENA region.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the business use case
• Planning the documentation phase and monitoring business requirement gathering continuously with necessary follow up.
• Analysing and eliciting requirements
• Translating and simplifying requirements to development team
• Requirements management and communication
• Handling face-to-face and written communication with senior management and thought leaders in the banking and fintech space
• Travel to locations in Middle East and North Africa for client meetings if required.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in Banking domain
• 1 year experience in client facing role
• Candidate must have extremely good written and verbal communication skills required to interact with Senior Management
• In-depth knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint is mandatory
• An understanding of banking or BFSI IT technology is preferred though not mandatory
• Candidates with an understanding of Blockchain will have an added advantage

Qualifications

Previous banking and BFSI IT experience is preferred. Understanding of Blockchain Technology is a plus.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of banking or BFSI IT technology
• Understanding of Blockchain Technology (preferred)
