About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst to support balance sheet and revenue forecasting for the Credit Card business. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely forecasts, insightful month-end reporting, and clear variance analysis to support business performance management. The analyst will play a critical role in running and maintaining core forecast models, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to finance and business partners.
In This Role
- Execute balance sheet and revenue forecasting models, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented outputs.
- Deliver month-end financial reporting, including balances, revenue, and key performance metrics.
- Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast, forecast vs. prior) and provide clear, actionable commentary on key drivers.
- Analyze trends in balances and revenue to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging business patterns.
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders to validate assumptions and interpret financial results.
- Support forecast cycles through model updates, overlays, and continuous process improvements.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in finance, analytics, and/or financial reporting.
- Prior credit card or consumer lending experience.
- Knowledge of Essbase or similar financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of both the financial and strategic aspects of the business to support growth initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organizational environment.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools and their application in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and LiveMeeting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executive-level audiences.
Job Expectations
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, and Charlotte, NC locations.

Pay Range
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
