About the Role

The Senior Branch Office Administrator (Sr. BOA) role teams up with financial advisors to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. The primary role of the Sr. BOA is to provide administrative support to a financial advisor or a team of multiple financial advisors. Sr. BOAs are a valued part of the client support team, contributing unique experiences and professional backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional personalized service to ensure clients feel understood and informed.
  • Take an active role in the annual business planning process to assist in developing strategies for the upcoming year.
  • Actively listen for situations in clients' lives that may indicate a need for additional services.
  • Drive marketing activities such as planning and executing events.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients via inbound and outbound calls, email, and in-person interactions. Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and internal client support team members.
  • Learn and understand the financial services industry, including account opening, handling account transfers, and processing other requests at the direction of the financial advisor.
  • Process account transactions, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate client records.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, preparing materials for client meetings, managing correspondence, and supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Streamline processes by updating SOPs and strategically execute on the branch business plan.
  • Utilize and learn new technology and programs such as MoneyGuide, Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, and other firm-provided software.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related financial services, banking, or legal experience plus demonstration of job progression/responsibility.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Excellent conversational and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong computer literacy with a willingness to learn new technology and programs.
  • Aptitude to work independently at the direction of the financial advisor.

Pay

The hiring minimum and maximum range shown is a subset of the total pay range. There is also an opportunity for merit-based salary increases as you progress in the Sr. BOA role. Compensation includes bonus opportunities based on branch and firm profitability, along with individual performance.
