Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade BI and analytics solutions using Power BI and Snowflake.
- Build optimized semantic models, datasets, and dashboards in Power BI.
- Develop and maintain Snowflake data models (star/snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting.
- Write complex, high-performance SQL queries and optimize Snowflake workloads.
- Design and implement predictive models (regression, classification, forecasting, clustering).
- Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
- Translate business requirements into analytics solutions and KPIs.
- Implement feature engineering, model validation, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security across BI and analytics platforms.
- Automate analytics workflows and reporting pipelines.
- Mentor junior BI and analytics team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or data analytics roles.
- Strong expertise in Power BI:
- DAX, Power Query (M)
- Data modeling and performance optimization
- Extensive experience with Snowflake:
- Query optimization and cost management
- Secure data sharing
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Proficiency in Python or R for analytics and ML development.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and analytics engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD for analytics and ML solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
