Sr. Automation Tester (In-Person Interview)

About the role

The Description Tester Expert will lead testing efforts for WCB applications/projects including P4 ecae/CIS modernization, P2 eforms, P5 - ECR/ORPS Modernization. The role involves uncovering and investigating defects, identifying root causes, generating reports, and sharing findings with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Test plans, Test strategy documents, Test scripts, Tests, Test scenarios, Test matrices for WCB Applications.
• Perform Test and Defect Management using tools like HP ALM and JIRA.
• Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the system development life cycle and ensure Testing milestones and dates are met.
• Perform Test execution & Analyzing Test results and Reporting.
• Estimate test effort for projects and provide estimations.
• Create and execute automated test cases and suites for Functional and Regression testing based on software requirements using automated tools like UFT, Selenium, and Appium.
• Perform back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries.
• Perform integration Testing and run automation suites with CI/CD tools.
• Perform Web services testing using SOAP UI/Postman API testing tools and REST API using Rest assured/Java.
• Create Performance Test plans, Test scripts, Test data for performance Testing.
• Review bottle necks, baseline and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts for native Mobile applications using Appium.
• Perform Accessibility Testing using Accessibility Testing tools to test documents and WCB applications for ADA section 508 and WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance.
• Create and update scripts using programming languages like Java, VB, and J script.

Requirements

• Experience (12+ Years): Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
• Automation Tools: Proficient in using automation tools like Selenium or Cypress across Onboard modernization applications, with strong expertise in implementing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Performance Testing: 84 months experience in performance testing with JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad. Expert in developing and executing performance test plans and scripts, preparing test data, identifying and analyzing performance bottlenecks, establishing baselines, and assessing system scalability to ensure optimal application performance.
• Web Services Testing: 36 months performing Web services testing using SOAP UI/Postman API testing tools & REST assured.
• Data Migration Testing: 36 months of experience as a SQL and database migration tester with back-end testing expertise, specializing in data validation, SQL query development, ensuring data integrity, and supporting seamless system migrations.
