About the role
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and expand automation software toolchains that integrate engineering data from various sources to support launch vehicle development and mission integration.
- Toolchains that interact with large-scale production CAD databases to support vehicle-level mass property estimation.
- Other infrastructure projects utilizing Databricks, AWS, Gitlab CI, or other frameworks and elements to automate analysis workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, automation, data science, engineering, or analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain automated software tools and workflows.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Databricks, SQL, Python, REST APIs, and AWS.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Experience developing and improving toolchains that interface with a CAD toolset or database.
- Experience developing analysis toolchains and database solutions.
- Knowledge of launch vehicles (vehicle architecture, components, etc.).
- Knowledge of physics and engineering analysis fundamentals.
Skills
Experience with mass properties analysis.

Pay
Base Pay Range For CA applicants is $197,529.00 - $276,539.55 CO applicants is $181,626.00 - $254,275.35 WA applicants is $197,529.00 - $276,539.55 Other Site Ranges May Differ
