Job Summary
The Senior Automation Engineer at Tegra Medical is responsible for managing automation projects, improving production efficiency, and collaborating with other Automation teams within the SFS group.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical documentation of automated systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with automated systems
- Research and evaluate new technologies to identify and implement process improvements
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Work with other departments to identify and address challenges in the production process
- Develop and execute equipment qualifications such as IQ, OQ, and SQ
- Train and mentor other automation engineers
- Assist in the training of other engineers and production staff on the use of automated systems
Qualifications
- Knowledge of automated systems, tools, and technologies
- Experience with SolidWorks, PLC programming languages, and software development
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least 5-10 years of experience in automation engineering.
