About the role

This position serves as a Sr. Automated Test Engineer within a secure environment, focusing on designing and executing automated system tests. The role requires a deep understanding of various testing methodologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute automated system tests to ensure software quality.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and Groovy (using Jenkins).
  • Implement and manage Test Automation Frameworks such as Linear, Modular, Data Driven, and Behavior Driven.
  • Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and optimize testing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all security-related requirements in secure environments.
  • Lead and oversee a comprehensive system perspective, including understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements across cloud and hybrid services, infrastructure, and security domains.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies, accurately decomposing tasks for Jira stories.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and solutioning support.
  • Document technical details effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and executing automated system testing.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must meet DOD 8140 requirements with Security+ CE Certification.
  • Proven expertise as a Test Automation Engineer with delivery of similar scope projects.
  • Experience with Load Testing and Functional Testing, with the ability to analyze test results.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security-related requirements in secure environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and solutioning skills.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is preferred.
  • Experience with other Cloud environments like Azure, Google, Oracle, and IBM is preferred.
  • Experience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management, TeamWork Cloud/Cameo, Microsoft Project, and Tableau is preferred.
  • Familiarity with reviewing and responding to system alerts from visualization applications like Grafana is preferred.
  • Experience leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of cloud and hybrid services, infrastructure, and security domains is preferred.

Skills
