Sr Associate, Strategic Finance

As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will help scale the financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities and empower decision makers across our different businesses and functions. You will play a key role in all aspects of financial reporting and make significant contributions to high-profile strategic and operational initiatives. Your work and the insights you create will drive real-time business decisions and help Uber continue to grow, scale, and become more profitable, while also creating opportunities for the many couriers, restaurants, and drivers that use our platform daily.

Responsibilities

• Partner with company leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals.
• Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision-making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities.
• Break complex business problems into components and build models from scratch, as well as improve existing models.
• Partner with your team to execute projects and operationalize insights.
• Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant subject.
• 4+ years of proven experience.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Prior financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations.

Pay

• For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range is USD $131,000 per year – USD $145,000 per year.
• For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range is USD $131,000 per year – USD $145,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation.

Schedule

Unless approved for full remote work, employees must spend at least 50% of their time in-office. Some roles, like those at greenlight hubs, require full-time in-office presence.
