Sr. Associate, Sales Operations

About the role

The Sr. Associate, Sales Operations at Alcon will collaborate across departments to leverage advanced analytics tools for operational excellence. They will promote data-driven decision-making through sophisticated analytical tools, data visualization, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analytical tools using Tableau and Alteryx to support operational decision-making.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement in business processes.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide critical business insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate new data sources and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and automate workflows in Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and analytics.
• Provide training and support to team members on Tableau and Alteryx usage and best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in data analytics and business intelligence tools.
• Translate complex business requirements into solution design and provide feedback on project outcomes.
• Develop and update SQL queries for troubleshooting data and creating ad-hoc analysis as per business needs.
• Support in the implementation of new applications/systems focused on optimizing resource utilization.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex business requirements from real-world scenarios and translating them into solution design.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Alteryx.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operation or business analytics roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
