Sr Associate, Loan Operational Controls

About the role

The Operational Controls Senior Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks coming from different departments within Loan Servicing. This role involves handling complex inquiries, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and managing multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles DDAs and General Ledger accounts.
• Completes tasks within the MSP system (Mortgage Servicing Platform).
• Receives daily wires and sends notifications to responsible departments.
• Balances and posts all new loan entries to GL.
• Setstle credit card transactions taken by loan originators and balances those entries to GL.
• Maintains the Operational Controls email inbox and handles requests as necessary.
• Ensures all work performed in the department complies with all bank policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Reconciles and processes loss mitigation entries into Credit MIS.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mortgage loan servicing required.
• MSP knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Effectively operate all office equipment required to support this position, including personal computer, strong keyboarding skills, fax, scanner/copier, printer, phone system, and various applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and positive attitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Display independent judgement.
• Demonstrate excellent organization, prioritize workflow, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a quick thinker and learner while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance is required.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.00 to $31.00 USD hourly. Actual salary may vary based on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
