Main Purpose of the Position

The Senior Associate Designer for the HAELO team will utilize their strong edgy femme acumen for fashion to create and interpret concepts to generate a final product for a specific brand. He or she will collaborate with different departments to manage the development of his or her product from initial concept through production across multiple brands. This is a permanent full time role for a candidate who truly understands the market consumer and can apply it to the passion of his or her work. This position will also utilize his or organizational skills to work independently to accomplish design departmental goals.

Major Responsibilities

  • Able to complete the execution of a brand or category with the minimal direction of a senior level Designer for the Downtown Femme category
  • Strong knowledge of premium quality garments with a strong focus on multiple end-use dress design. This includes heavily construction occasion dresses, to soft woven “anytime” dresses.
  • Aesthetic must lend itself to sophisticated-sexy, sleek, and forward driven but wearable fashion
  • Create detailed technical flats and line guides; this includes intricate CAD work, detailed construction details for review with Lead Designer. This includes thoughtful and intentional interior construction work and ability to execute on those CAD’s independently
