About the role

Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest‑growing structural engineering firms, with 30 locations worldwide. The company provides high‑performance earthquake and structural engineering, disaster mitigation, and response and reconstruction services, working to improve the safety and environment of pre‑ and post‑disaster communities, schools, hospitals, historical monuments, and international icons. It is seeking a Sr Associate to be based out of its Puerto Rico office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and assist in the establishment and management of project budgets and schedules.
• Create and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of structural engineering design experience.
• PE license required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with emphasis on structural engineering desirable.
