Sr. Asset Manager

This important role protects Virginia Housing’s security in properties in the multifamily portfolio through effective financial and physical oversight of the properties and their operations. It promotes the availability of quality, affordable housing through the effective monitoring of the properties and their management. The successful candidate will support a portfolio of properties within the state of Virginia.

Responsibilities
- Protect Virginia Housing’s security in properties through financial and physical oversight of the multifamily portfolio.
- Monitor properties and their management to promote the availability of quality, affordable housing.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Inspect properties by navigating buildings, stairways, and grounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience in portfolio and/or relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, multifamily real estate, and property management practices.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Up to 75% travel is required.
- Must live and work within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CAM, CPM, or CHAM-AMS (preferred).

Pay
$95,000 – $128,000
This position will report to our Innsbrook office in Glen Allen, VA. A background and motor vehicle check will be performed as a condition of employment. A Conflict-of-Interest Act Disclosure form and Secondary Employment Disclosure form will need to be completed as a condition of employment.
