Sr. ASIC Design Verification Engineer, Amazon Leo

About the role

This role involves working on Amazon Leo's sub-team responsible for defining and implementing digital chip SOCs for communications via Low Earth Orbit satellites and Amazon gateways. The team collaborates with customer requirements and wireless system teams to develop modems, high-speed interfaces, embedded processors, and DSP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement a state-of-the-art verification environment to test RTL against reference Matlab/C models
• Develop detailed test plans and write tests, run regressions, and collect coverage matrices
• Write tests in C/C++ to execute on embedded CPU
• Develop tests for FPGA and emulation platforms
• Run formal verification of complex blocks to ensure functional correctness
• Develop a highly automated regression environment to run tests and maintain the database

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years in verification, preferably in communication systems
• 5+ years in UVM, C/C++, and scripting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
• 10+ years in digital verification, preferably in communication systems
• Familiarity with Matlab
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques

Pay

Base salary range: $159,200.00 - $215,300.00 USD annually
