Sr. Art Director

We are hiring an Art Director and a Copywriter at the same time and have a strong preference for hiring them as a team. Responsibilities

• Create on-strategy designs (both animated and static) for campaigns across multiple channels, including emails, digital banners, web, mobile, print, presentations, social, and more.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and clients.
• Bring beauty to web projects working hand-in-hand with User Experience teams.
• Confidently present to clients and prospective clients.
• Stay current on design knowledge and trends, especially in the interactive space.
• Work alongside the Creative Director and other designers to craft design solutions that meet briefs and/or company objectives—as well as timelines and budgets.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in marketing and/or advertising, preferably in an agency environment.
• 3+ years of industry experience + managing client-facing projects preferred.
• A killer portfolio demonstrating your awesomeness. (REQUIRED)
• Extensive experience with both Figma and the Adobe suite, particularly Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Fluency with digital communication and project management tools and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Fearless and boundlessly creative.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong background in creative web design and interactive technology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic, deadline-driven work environment.
• Passion for our craft: culture, design, creativity, and technology.
• Excellent presentation skills.

Pay

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.

Schedule

We operate as a work, not live, from anywhere model and utilize the office space as a co-working space as needed. Whether in the office or at a remote location, we try to operate in the traditional office norm model. Occasional long, irregular hours may be required.

Working Conditions

• Work with a computer, telephone, copier, or other office equipment for long stretches of time.
• Frequent interruptions such as Slack messages, emails, phone calls, or drive-by visits (whether from a co-worker at the office or your dog barking while working remotely).
• All calls are held on video to see facial expressions and reactions in a collaborative environment.
• Occasionally need to bend, pull, push, and/or reach to access job-related materials.
• Expected to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and maintain professionalism under stress.
