About the role

AWS, the world-leading provider of cloud services, is seeking an Applied Science lead to drive innovation in AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in autonomous agents, API orchestration, planning, large multimodal models, and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to hard problems using advanced AI techniques
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to solve real-world problems
• Utilize vast amounts of data and computational resources to advance AI research
• Work closely with world-class engineers and developers to bring ideas to market
• Publish findings at peer-reviewed conferences and workshops

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
• Experience building machine learning models for business applications
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Qualifications

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
• Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.

Pay

Base salary range: $192,200.00 - $260,000.00 annually.
