About the Role

MPS is looking for an experienced, driven, and winning-attitude professional to drive the definition and development of High Power/High Voltage products for Automotive, Server Power, and Industrial markets as a Senior Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define analog IC products in high power, isolated, and wideband gap solutions.
• Model EMI and design EMI reduction techniques and solutions.
• Work with customer and field application team to provide support on total high power sub-system solutions.
• Write datasheets, application notes, design notes, and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive switch mode power supply designs and EMI modeling.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Fluent communication skills in English. Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in supporting or defining high power IC or modeling high power IC-related EMI is preferred.

Qualifications

BSEE or higher required.

Pay

The base salary range for this position in California is $120,000 – $170,000, based on market location and factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons.
