About the role

The Sr. Applications Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all applications meet business needs and are scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and design solutions.
  • Implement new features and enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Document code and maintain application documentation.
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application quality.
  • Continuously improve development processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Strong understanding of database systems and SQL.
  • Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
