About the role
We are seeking a Sr. Android Engineer to join our team. This position will be based in the US and will work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers
- Implement new features and improve existing functionality
- Ensure app performance and user experience meet high standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience developing Android applications
- Strong understanding of Java programming language
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Experience with Kotlin is a plus
- Knowledge of Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData)
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, JUnit)
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
