About the role
The Senior Consultant leverages strong technical skills and healthcare industry knowledge to support clinical and business stakeholders. This role is accountable for analytical support, consultancy for internal and external customers, and advisory services for senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Query a wide variety of internal and external data sources to derive meaningful insights.
- Develop dynamic and visually engaging dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Apply business intelligence to take a business case from inception to execution for customers or partners.
- Lead analytic initiatives to success.
- Deliver high-quality output to senior leadership under tight deadlines to support decision-making.
- Champion initiatives and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to bring them to life.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance industry economics, or a related field; OR
- Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance industry economics, or a related field; OR
- PhD with 2 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance industry economics, or a related field; OR
- 10 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance industry economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in querying data sources and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in computer languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Healthcare industry experience (payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, etc.).
- Experience with version control/collaborative tools, such as GitHub.
- Experience with automation tools, such as Alteryx.

Pay
Salary range: $84,400.00 – $152,300.00 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role includes eligibility for an annual incentive bonus plan.
