About the Role

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Senior Analyst, Security to serve as a Team Lead on the Clearance Administration Team. This role involves processing and maintaining Personnel Security Clearances (PCL) in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government agency directives for employees supporting government contracts. An active and existing Top Secret DoD security clearance is required from day one, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, initiate, and maintain personnel security clearances in DISS, NBIS, eQIP, and SIMS.
  • Collect fingerprints and upload them into the government database.
  • Verify clearance and briefing status for requests to access secure workspaces.
  • Process incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign visit requests.
  • Submit Adverse Information Reports to the government.
  • Track and report foreign travel of cleared employees.
  • Facilitate classified meetings.
  • Coordinate initial and annual security training, Insider Threat Briefings, special briefings, and other required training.
  • Provide professional support and proactive customer service to coworkers, internal customers, and external customers daily.
  • Operate in accordance with corporate policies and practices while complying with accepted business ethics.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance).
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance (active clearance required from day one).
  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100 USD.
