Responsibilities
- Aid in the calculation, analysis, and communication of monthly financial, operating, and statistical results, focusing on process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain scalable processes within Workday to automate the journal entry process, enabling focus on data validation, error checking, and exception handling.
- Maintain and update Excel templates for evaluating net revenue and net AR, ensuring alignment with KPIs such as net AR valuation and cash collections compared to net revenue recorded over time, drug margin, and drug revenue/admin, reimbursement rates as a percentage of published Medicare reimbursement.
- Monitor and manage monthly processes to accurately map charge, payment, and adjustment transaction activity to the correct GL accounts, service lines, cost centers, and physicians.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to enhance data availability, quality, and functionality for periodic and ad hoc analyses.
- Support new partner practice and acquired company integration activities during the 4-6 month onboarding process.
- Assist in preparing and presenting periodic AR hindsight review procedures necessary to evaluate the Company's AR positions.
- Contribute to other applicable projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Understanding of provider care billing data and revenue recognition is required.
- Two to four years of experience in finance and/or accounting is required.
- Strong financial analytical and computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Excel, are required.
- Workday ERP (Financials, Prism, and Accounting Center modules) experience is a significant plus but not required.
- Experience with healthcare data, particularly in provider billing data, claims data, Medicare reimbursement schedules, financial journal entry structure, and electronic medical record (EMR) data, is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Practice leadership to achieve desired outcomes is essential.
