Sr. Analyst, Payroll & People Operations

Responsibilities
Own U.S. Payroll Operations: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including biweekly, supplemental, and off-cycle payrolls. Review and validate timecards, payroll adjustments, earnings, deductions, and tax impacts. Administer deferred compensation plans, garnishments, reimbursements, incentive payments, and other payroll transactions. Prepare payroll journal entries, cash funding reports, and reconciliations in partnership with Accounting. Ensure payroll tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Manage payroll tax registrations, notices, and account maintenance. Support audits, compliance reviews, and year-end payroll activities. Maintain payroll system configurations, earnings codes, deduction codes, departments, and general ledger mappings. Strengthen internal controls through reconciliations, audits, and root-cause analysis.
Drive People Operations Excellence: Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert, overseeing configuration, data integrity, integrations, reporting, and system optimization. Maintain global employee records, organizational structures, and workforce data. Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes. Administer benefits processes, enrollments, terminations, invoice reconciliations, and employee support. Produce reports, dashboards, and analytics related to payroll, benefits, headcount, and compliance. Respond to employee payroll, benefits, and HR inquiries with professionalism and discretion. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes, document procedures, and strengthen operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience managing multi-state payroll, including tax compliance, filings, and audits. Experience supporting payroll accounting processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Paycor, ADP, UKG, Rippling).
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation logic). Strong analytical skills with the ability to build reports, dashboards, and insights. Deep understanding of data accuracy controls, reconciliations, and issue resolution.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $105,000/yr and a yearly bonus potential. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
