Sr. Analyst - Liquidity Regulatory Reporting
About the role
The Sr. Analyst – Liquidity Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the documentation and preparation of complex liquidity regulatory reports, with a primary focus on the FR 2052a. This role supports the preparation and submission of required reporting to applicable regulatory bodies, as well as the development of regulatory content for board reports, news releases, and public financial disclosures. Additionally, the position provides guidance to senior management within the business units on the regulatory implications of proposed transactions.
Responsibilities
- Owning the daily production of the FR 2052a submission to the Federal Reserve, requiring close coordination with Controllers, Technology, and Global Accounting teams.
- Maintaining Procedures and Standards to ensure regulatory compliance with applicable regulatory bodies and reporting requirements are met.
- Researching and analyzing day-over-day balance sheet movements and accounts out of balance with the goal of remediating in a short timeframe.
- Producing daily and monthly MIS liquidity reporting to broad distribution, including Senior Management Committees such as the Corporate Asset and Liability Management Committee.
- Advising business unit senior management on the regulatory implications of proposed transactions and new product offerings.
Requirements
- Proven ability to analyze balance sheets and perform general ledger adjustments.
- Strong control framework and control check mindset.
- Ability to identify and mirror general ledger entries into regulatory liquidity processes.
- 7+ years of work experience with a related four-year degree.
- Prior understanding of liquidity concepts preferred.
