About the role

The Senior Analyst, Oracle EPM & FP&A Systems plays a crucial role in transforming the lives of seniors through precise financial planning and forecasting. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the financial models, data pipelines, and reporting tools are accurate, performant, and support agile decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize the Oracle EPM Planning Environment
  • Manage, configure, and continuously improve the Oracle Cloud EPM environment
  • Design and maintain complex Business Rules, Calculation Scripts, and Member Formulas
  • Maintain Data Integrity Between ERP and EPM Systems
  • Deliver Advanced Analytics and Executive Reporting
  • Support FP&A analysts with Smart View configuration
  • Enable Strategic Scenario Modeling and Forecasting
  • Ensure Security, Governance, and SOX Compliance
  • Provide Tier 3/4 Escalation Support and System Reliability
  • Drive root-cause analysis and implement preventive controls
  • Supervise junior analysts and lead EPM-related project workstreams
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical EPM system failures

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) or Hyperion Planning/Essbase
  • Proven experience designing, building, and troubleshooting Essbase (ASO and BSO) multidimensional models
  • Demonstrated experience leading or serving as technical lead on at least two full-cycle Oracle EPM Cloud implementations or major upgrades
  • Strong working knowledge of corporate finance concepts
  • Experience with data privacy and financial compliance requirements (SOX, HIPAA)
  • Prior experience in a Medicare Advantage, managed care, or health insurance organization
  • Preferred: Oracle EPM Cloud: Planning Implementation Professional certification
  • Preferred: Oracle Financials Cloud: General Ledger Implementation Professional certification
  • Preferred: Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close certification
  • Preferred: Groovy Scripting proficiency for advanced EPM business rule automation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • Coursework or background in healthcare finance, actuarial science, or managed care economics

Skills & Competencies

  • Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) or Hyperion Planning — system administration, Business Rules, Calc Scripts
  • Essbase (ASO & BSO) multidimensional modeling and MDX querying
  • Oracle Smart View — configuration, best practices, and end-user support
  • Data Management / FDMEE and EPM Integration Agent — ERP-to-EPM data pipeline management
  • Financial Planning Domain Knowledge (BVA, Rolling Forecasts, ZBB, Capital Planning)
  • Scripting and Automation (Groovy, Python, or PowerShell for EPM business rule automation)
  • SOX Compliance, Cell-Level Security, and EPM Governance Documentation

Pay

$113,332.00 - $169,999.00
