Sr Analyst Finance
About the Role
The Sales Finance Analyst (SFA) will be a key partner for the Commercial Organization and other functional groups, providing analytical insights, process oversight, and reporting. Responsibilities include daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, building and reporting KPI scorecards, analyzing trade spend, facilitating trade forecasts, tracking and accounting for monthly financial results, executing financial analyses, and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.
Candidates should identify key trends and issues for decision-making, recommend corrective actions to streamline processes, and support internal control processes, including SOX requirements. The role requires the ability to analyze large volumes of data, troubleshoot, and communicate effectively with management and cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Build and report KPI scorecards for performance tracking.
- Analyze trade spend and facilitate trade forecasts.
- Track and account for monthly financial results.
- Execute financial analyses and deliver accurate reporting.
- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support internal control processes and SOX compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance, with previous CPG experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills.
- Ability to streamline internal processes and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large datasets.
- Experience with SAP Financial applications (preferred).
- Knowledge of Order to Cash, Demand Planning, Poultry or Prepared Plant Operations, Purchase to Pay Shared Services, and Sales Operations.
- MBA or CPA certification (a plus).
