About the role
The Data Governance & Enablement Senior Analyst supports the execution of enterprise data governance programs, including privacy, by applying subject matter expertise and collaborating across business and technical teams. This role contributes to the development and operationalization of frameworks, policies, and tools, helping to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the development of data and analytics governance documentation, including standards, procedures, controls, job aids, and training materials; includes execution of GDPR-related operational capabilities required to sustain compliance.
- Translate governance requirements into actionable procedures and workflows for business units.
- Execute governance processes including data quality monitoring, metadata management, and data ownership and custodianship role coordination.
- Execute intake, triage, tracking, fulfillment, and reporting for Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), Extended Data Subject Access Requests (ERASR), and other GDPR-related operational processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and remediation planning for data quality issues.
- Assist in the creation of governance dashboards and reporting for leadership and oversight committees.
- Participate in governance forums, working groups, and stakeholder meetings to share insights and drive alignment.
- Provide guidance and support to analysts and junior team members.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in data governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in privacy, data governance, analytics, or related fields.
- GDPR experience required.
