Sr. Analyst- Cyber Loss Control
The Role
The Role: The Risk Operations Center (ROC) is seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to transform complex, proprietary claims data into actionable intelligence that directly dictates underwriting decisions, drives client loss-prevention strategies, and refines our cyber risk quantification models.
The Mission
In your first six months, you will:
- Sytematically extract and analyze Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and root cause insights from closed and ongoing cyber claims data.
- Drive the development of proactive loss control campaigns tailored to our clients' unique risk profiles.
- Ensure your intelligence continuously improves our data models.
- Step up as a thought leader, externally advocating for ROC insights through publications and presentations to influence industry practices and enhance company credibility.
The Toolkit
- 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Information Security Analysis, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to assess security controls and articulate their effectiveness against high-impact threats.
- Deep understanding of translating highly technical findings into hard financial loss metrics (e.g., ransom demands, business interruption).
- Proven experience with threat modeling and IOC analysis in a financial services or insurance context.
- Familiarity with cyber insurance claims processes and underwriting principles.
- Strong track record in public speaking or publishing security-related content.
