Sr. Analyst, Controlling

The Sr Analyst, Controlling (Logistics) position plays a crucial role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting accurate reporting, and providing insights for optimizing operational efficiency within the Logistics department.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Main controlling partner for Logistics service and storage costs

• Provide financial leadership and oversight for demand planning and logistics functions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational objectives

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Supports Logistics organization with month-end closing activities, forecasting and business planning

• Develop and manage budgets for demand planning and logistics activities

• Conduct regular financial forecasting and variance analysis to support decision-making

• Cost Analysis: Analyze costs associated with demand planning and logistics processes

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data related to demand planning and logistics

• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

• Collaboration: Work closely with demand planning, logistics, and supply chain teams to understand operational requirements and provide financial guidance

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or Finance/Accounting)

• 5-7 Years of Experience (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration)

• Strong data analytical and problem-solving attitude

• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SP S4 HANA

• Reporting tools know-how, mainly Power BI

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
