The Business Insights team is a trusted strategic partner to Retirement Solutions, turning data into reporting and insights that power the best protection solutions, experiences, and outcomes so participants can move confidently toward and live in a secure, dignified retirement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and run support of Plan Sponsor & Consultant reporting for our Governmental & Institutional plans.
- Utilize SQL and Microsoft BI in your daily workflow to service report/dashboard requests.
- Work with multiple data sets, primarily utilizing DCdirect data stored in the RS ODS.
- Leverage new data sets to learn and grow your skills.
- Show strength in data analytics, foundational understanding of SQL & Microsoft Power BI, strong attention to detail, critical thinking, effective communication, and collaboration.
- Promote and foster team engagement with a proactive approach to upskilling in data and digital skills.
- Pursue continuous improvement with the ability to identify and implement data/reporting enhancements.
Requirements
This is a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ, requiring on-site presence at least two days per week. Preference will be given to candidates located within the designated geographic areas; however, highly-qualified remote applicants may be considered. This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.
Qualifications
- Four years or more of related experience with data extraction, data manipulation, data visualization analysis, and problem solving.
- Working experience with SQL, R, Python or SAS.
- Undergraduate studies in data or business analytics, computer science, management information, business, mathematics or related field with post-graduate studies preferred.

Pay
$69,500.00 - $129,000.00
Schedule
