About the Role

The Senior Analyst will be a key member of Varsity Spirit’s Analytics & Insights team, formed to build analytic and strategic models to support organizational decision making. You will work closely with business partners to identify needs and prepare detailed analysis and derive actionable insights. This role will provide relevant data-driven insights that help the business make better decisions, address key challenges and concerns, and uncover new opportunities for growth. There will be an opportunity to grow your career as you collaborate with and present to senior and operational leaders across Varsity Spirit.

Location: Hybrid in Memphis

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial, strategic, pricing, forecasting, and operational models
  • Analyze large and/or complex datasets to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate analysis into clear recommendations and business actions
  • Partner directly with Sales, Pricing, Operations, Finance, and other functions
  • Build dashboards and recurring reporting while continuously improving / automating them
  • Present findings to senior and operational leaders
  • Validate data and maintain analytical quality/control standards
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Support ad hoc strategic analysis and executive decision-making

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of advanced analytical experience required; preferably in areas such as consulting, analytics, or finance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, marketing, computer science, or related field required

Skills

  • Proficient to strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and time management
  • Enjoyment of continuous learning and personal development

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PCs, laptop, telephone will be required.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected throughout the year.
