Sr. Algorithm Developer

YOUR ROLE

You will be part of Aptiv's Advanced Safety group, pioneering technologies like Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Warning, Emergency Brake Assist, and Lane Keeping systems. You will also contribute to the development of advanced sensor fusion and vehicle tracking algorithms for L0-L3 autonomous driving systems.

• Algorithm development for Tracking and Sensor Fusion
• Design, integrate, test and release software/algorithm to internal and external customers
• Algorithm validation and functional performance improvement in various environments
• Help resolve challenging perception problems from different global programs
• Collaborate with downstream teams to support L0-L3 autonomous driving system globally

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• 2+ years' experience in sensor fusion and object tracking
• Good understanding of tracking filters, data association, and machine learning algorithms
• Critical & proactive thinker with excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Understanding of ASPICE
• Basic knowledge of radar signal processing
• 3+ years of C++ and Python experience
• Experience with version control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Plastic, Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar)
• Flexibility to change to different perception tasks

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)

• PhD in Engineering or relevant field
• 5+ years’ experience in Automated Driving algorithm design and implementation
• Real-world L2 or higher level automated driving system development experience
• Experience with Python and ROS
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, numerical methods, and statistical methods
• Experience in code profiling and optimization
