Sr. Agentic Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Agentic Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will help shape how emerging AI-assisted development practices are translated into reliable, production-ready software delivery. You will partner closely with product and engineering teams to turn product ideas into clear technical direction, while driving execution across multiple parallel workstreams. The position centers on building the specifications, workflows, and quality checks that allow teams to use agent-driven development effectively without sacrificing correctness, security, or customer impact. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually Responsibilities Shape product opportunities into actionable technical direction for engineers. Write detailed agent specifications to guide team execution and set quality standards. Apply judgment to determine when to delegate tasks to agents versus when human input is necessary. Steer multiple agents through implementation across concurrent workstreams to maximize output. Set verification standards for features, ensuring thorough testing and production readiness. Own the entire feature lifecycle, focusing on correctness, security, and customer impact. Influence product decisions by integrating engineering insights into development discussions. Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on customer-facing software in production. Experience using AI coding agents for feature delivery across multiple workstreams. Proficient in designing systems and data models for performance and data-flow optimization. Ability to write clear agent specifications and technical documentation for team execution. Expertise in context engineering for reliable agent execution across teams. Proven skills in designing agent workflows with human checkpoints for parallel execution.
