Sr Advisor - Student Success - SAC - req14014 - T

Part-time, temporary position (19 hours per week). Not eligible for benefits. Location: Advising Services, 1819 N Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas, 78212.

About the role

Performs moderate complex work providing advising to students from entry to completion. Responsible for implementing the academic advising strategies and achievement of student learning outcomes. May provide services for special populations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training that equates to the required degree.
• Two years of related experience, preferably in a college setting.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Four years of related experience in educational or social services settings with parents and young children in diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• A degree in Child Development, Education, Psychology, or related human services field.
• Community College experience.
• Teaching background or presentation skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Pay

Hourly.
