Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer, you will lead system architecture, design, and integration for complex aerospace systems, drive end-to-end systems engineering activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture, design, and integration for complex aerospace systems
- Drive end-to-end systems engineering activities, including requirements flow-down, design, verification, and validation
- Provide technical leadership across:
- Control systems integration
- Test and development equipment
- Field issue investigation and resolution
- Collaborate effectively with:
- Multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Program and project management organizations
- Internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Ensure designs align with Honeywell Aerospace quality standards and industry best practices
- Own technical problem-solving efforts, delivering innovative and scalable solutions
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
- Support project execution, ensuring scope, schedule, and performance targets are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems engineering
- Promised experience leading complex system integration projects
- Strong background in verification & validation (V&V) processes
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Analyze and apply new technologies quickly
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Make sound, independent technical decisions
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Have passion for innovation, continuous learning, and problem-solving
U.S. Person Requirements
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $133,000-167,000.
